Reliable Quality and Affordability
More than a century ago, Coleman began by selling lanterns and camp stoves. A little more than twenty years later, their design of a fold-up camp stove became a must-have, nationwide. By 1958, Coleman started selling HVAC equipment for mobile homes and quickly entered the HVAC market.
Throughout the company’s history, Coleman has altered their production to fit the needs of consumers as well as soldiers abroad. While the Great Depression caused many families to search for low cost heating options, Coleman switched to producing gas floor furnaces and oil space heaters to ease the burden on low income families. The Coleman Pocket Stove was developed and given to GI’s during World War II. Now, a collector’s item, many are still found in working condition!
As Coleman has always promised, they still provide American products created with the consumer’s needs in mind. While consistently manufacturing products in America, Coleman closely monitors and improves the quality of their products. To ensure the quality Coleman achieves, they go above and beyond within their Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) facilities and by using extreme weather testing.
Energy Efficiency and Environmentally Friendly
Coleman’s affordable products are engineered for energy savings as well as green manufacturing. Coleman’s Wichita manufacturing plant is wind-powered and produces zero emissions from electricity and cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 18%.
Coleman has developed products which have been approved by Energy Star. Energy Star standards require products to save 15% – 20% more energy than standard products.
The ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient qualified AC21 air conditioner and HC20 heat pump can reduce energy bills by up to 50% compared to older, 10 SEER units.
Meanwhile, the ENERGY STAR® qualified 16 SEER LX models can cut energy bills by at least 38% compared to older, 10 SEER units. Coleman did not stop there!
Comfort and Improved Air Quality
Coleman offers several heating and air conditioning systems to fit your specific needs. AAA Heating & Air can help you decide what system would work best in your home based on ductwork, layout, and other attributes.
Heating and Air Conditioning Split System uses a heat pump outside of your home and an air handler installed inside which pump the air through ductwork.
Hybrid Heat Pump HVAC System provides an electric heat pump for warmer days to provide a consistent temperature. A hybrid natural gas heat pump then keeps your home warmer on colder days. This is an energy efficient design.
Packaged Heating and Air Conditioning Systems offer a compact solution by grouping the air conditioning unit, heat pump, and air handler in one outdoor unit.
Duct Free Mini Split HVAC System do not use ductwork, thereby minimizing the energy loss seen with other products. The indoor units can be mounted on the ceiling or wall – there is also a standing unit for the floor.
This unique system allows users to change the temperature in multiple rooms. This ideal for home additions, garages, small apartments, or simply creating different temperatures in multiple portions of your home.

You came to our rescue when my building contractor could not resolve a duct work problem (that he had incorrectly routed from the main unit to an addition for my 82 yr. old mother). The temperature in her room hovered close to her age (85°) before you redid the ducts and installed a return for exchange. The air works great now! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I’ve recommended AAA to three of my friends in the last three weeks.
